Animas

ÂNIMAS arose from an interest in the benefits of using animals in both clinical and social situations.

Because we were convinced that this cause would be extremely useful, we set about creating ÂNIMAS in 2002.

In 2004 we obtained IPSS / Institution with Public Utility status. Since 2011 we have been permanent members of Assistance Dogs Europe - ADEu, as well as ADI (Assistance Dogs International). So far, we are the only Portuguese association in this field to be a member of these organizations.

In 2018, Animal Assisted Interventions - International (AAI-int) accredited us as a training organization for Doubles in Animal Assisted Interventions.
